Getting Started
The trick to developing a good brochure is understanding what the content and message are and who the audience is that will be reading it?

  • Is the brochure a detailed description piece about the products and services you offer?
  • Or does it function as an advertisement? Is it mainly built for new customers?
  • Or is it for existing customers looking for more information?

Answering some of these preliminary questions can help set the right foundation for your brochure development.

Often it makes sense to develop separate and different brochures if you audience is different. For example you might have products that would appeal to both teens and thirty-something's. Although both products may be in your store location, the audiences for the brochure are very different and will require different writing styles, graphics, benefits, and layouts to make each one effective.
